Finaly!!! Nigeria"s New President Has Been Sworn In

Muhammadu Buhari, a former military ruler in Nigeria, has been sworn-in in the capital city of Abuja Today! Friday may 29. He is the first Nigerian to defeat a sitting president through the ballot box.

The incumbent Nigeria’s president dressed in traditional Muslim attire, stood on the stage clutching a Koran in his right hand, as he promised to preserve the constitution and laws of our country.

On the streets, before this day sellers on the streets of Abuja were gearing up for todays event, selling watches, badges, hats and green and white polo shirts inscribed with his campaign slogan “Sai Buhari”.

Most Nigerians feel good and optimistic about his tenure which begins today with hopes that he will rule differently, and have a lot of confidence that he’d be able to take on many of the challenges.
