STAY ALERT
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. (Job 1:6 KJV)
When you're on the verge of a blessing, or currently walking in your season of blessing, you still have to remain alert. The enemy loves to show up during these times, because our focus often shifts more to the blessing, and less on keeping our guard up.
Right before Jesus was about to face the cross, the enemy showed up in the garden, through Judas Iscariot. His hope was to get Jesus arrested, and somehow derail God's plan to redeem mankind through His Son, Jesus. Judas showed up in the garden with a great multitude of people, with swords and staves, right after Jesus had finished praying to the Father, which was His final preparation to endure the cross.
The devil's hope is that we would get so distracted, that we won't see his plan, as it is unfolding. Remember what Jesus told his disciples in the garden: "Watch and pray,..." (Matthew 26:41).
