Choreographer Parris Goebel raises questions about Beyoncé's originality... Beyoncé's originality is once again being called into question.
Her electrifying set at last week's Made In America festival featured a performance of her hit single "7/11," equipped with her typical rump-shaking dance moves. Unfortunately, it was a routine choreographer Parris Goebel knew all too well.
Goebel, who's worked with artists such as Janet Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, recently posted a mash-up video of her and a group of dancers doing their own "7/11" choreography prior to Beyoncé's performance on Saturday. The second half of the video shows the pop singer and her crew doing similar moves at MIA.
"Bey. Hire me already," Goebel captioned the video, suggesting Beyoncé ripped off the choreography.
Of course, this isn't the first time Beyoncé's been accused of stealing ideas. From song lyrics to video concepts to choreography, it's a criticism that's been following the singer her entire career.
Will it stop her reign? Probably not. But trust, Queen Bey is getting a major side eye.
